target abort

Hi,

The PCI spec permits to a device to restrict it's driver to
byte/word/dword
accesses and terminate other accesses with Target Abort. My question
is, do target devices typically use this permission and terminate a
burst
access with target abort ? Do you see a problem with such behavior ?
