How refreshing to see that sense has taken hold again.

However, I'd still like to know the story of how such ludicrous legal
action made it through the set of approvals necessary to cause it to
happen, much less who thought it would be a good idea to start it up at
all.  Seriously: what damage does using the logo for its intended purpose, 
to promulgate the acceptance of PCI as an industry standard, cause?
Even if there is damage, why would anything other than "stop using our 
logo" be called for, ever?  And where on *earth* did that "P", "C", "I" 
thing originate from?

Seriously, without some postmortem, how are we stopping this from happening 
again?
